I think it’s important for people to know that babies absolutely love eye contact.

Too often parents and adults think they can draw away and look at their phone when they’re with a newborn; this isn’t true! You will get the most smiles from a baby, and make the strongest possible connection by staring at each other. I don’t know what this says about development, or humans in general, but it’s the way it is.

Always look a baby in the eye!
